Although we do often use a combination of both printing and knitted techniques to achieve the desired design, the majority of our socks have our designs printed onto them. This allows for a much wider range of design options and intricate patterns.

Printing allows us to achieve vibrant and detailed designs that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional knitting techniques. Knitting with intricate designs results in three main issues:

1. Greatly reduced breathability and comfort, leading to socks feeling tighter around your feet and less lush.
2. Lack of clarity in design, with limited variety in thread thickness and durability. This further leads to pilling of your sock fabric over time.
3. A messy sock interior, which looks unappealing and unravels into loose threads over time. We deal with that enough already on our tshirts..
